Revival
After a relaxed rehearsal schedule over the summer, inTune is reviving itself in preparation for a concert on Tuesday the 20th of November.
The first full rehearsal of the new session will be on Tuesday, September the 11th, and will be an opportunity for prospective members to come, find out what it's all about, and join!
Advertising has begun and will continue over the next two weeks in preparation for this, and in an effort to raise the choir's profile and attract as many new members as possible
Sounds from St. Mary's
At last, the CD, Sounds from St. Mary's, for which the choir recorded two items is available! and a cost of just five Pounds Sterling. Please get in touch for further details.
The Penally Experience
On Saturday 26th May, inTune gave a performance at St. Nicholas and St. Teilo's Church in Penally as part of The Penally Experience. The concert was shared with the extraordinary Tenby Woodwind Quartet.
This was the choir's first 'concert' performance, and was extremely well received by the entire audience. Numerous positive comments have been extended to both the choir and the quartet from both the organisers of the festival, and from members of the audience, so congratulations to all!
St. David's fair singing
On Sunday 4th March, inTune sang at the St. David's Market in Saundersfoot. The choir was well applauded for its performance of three old english drinking songs and two welsh folk tunes.
record
Recording for Sounds from St. Mary's took place on the 25th and 26th of January, and from the youth point of view was a great success.
In spite of being the newest (9 rehearsals old) group presented on the disk, inTune's contributions of The Lamb (John Tavener) and Let God Arise (Thomas Tallis) certainly rank as two of the three most pleasing tracks. So congratulations to all!
Furthermore, all of our members participated in the other 'top three' track, Steal Away (Andrew Cusworth) performed by pupils and teachers from Ysgol Greenhill School and cunducted by Paul Rapi.

nativity
Carol singing can only be called a marvellous success!
Not only did the choir sing brilliantly and in many and various places (St. Mary's Churchyard, Blueberry's Cafe, Tenby Market, Tenby Harbour, Castle Hill, Lexon Terrace, The Hope and Anchor, The Lifeboat, Tenby House, the Five Arches, Woolworth's door, and Tudor Square) but in the short space of 1 hour and 45 minutes, raise £156.07 to be divided between Cancer Research UK and the St. Teilo's Church restoration fund.

advent
Our first engagement is approaching speedily: on Saturday (16th) we're out carol singing in Tenby. We're raising money for both Cancer Research UK and the St. Teilo's Church restoration fund. These are very worthy causes, and it would be great to collect as much as we can for them.

success
On Tuesday, 7 November, we held our first rehearsal. We're delighted to say that it was a success and more than 20 people have subscribed to the choir.
In the short space of two hours the group learned three carols for the first event. Over the next few weeks work will continue on carols, as well as on two pieces for recording.
